So Proud

Have you ever just done something that you are extremely proud of? Of course, everyone has. But many times other people are just as proud of what you did. But sometimes humbling pride is the best reward. When you do something so courageous, so non-vanilla, stepping outside your comfort zone, yet still managing to pull the task off; but only you know the fears that you had to fight. Usually it's that inner devil's advocate that wins out leaving you cowarding in the corner. Well not this time. I am so proud of myself, and nobody knows what for, except me, and I'm going to keep it that way.
