My babies!

So these are my babies! Last year is was my baby rainbow trout with their egg sacs still attached. These are the new guys in town, sorry fishies. I really enjoy my new job which looks at the food base in the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. It's amazing the differences in abundance above the dam and below the dam. So my duties include: finding these critters, identifying, counting them, and then measuring them. Most of them come in around 3mm or less. My eyes go googly after about 4 hours but it's a fun job, for a nerd like me. In case you were wondering, this is what a biologist does!
